As the original open water set-up in the Northwest we've successfully organised swims for over 100,000 swimmers and counting. As open water swimmers ourselves we pride ourselves on offering everything that an open water swimmer needs including top venues, expert water safety, quality-tested water and exciting events. Our superb Dock 9 venue is widely recognised as being one of the best open water swimming venues in the UK and has previously been used for the 2002 Commonwealth Games, Salford Triathlon. It is the current home for our very own Greater Manchester Swim and MediaCityUK Swim Challenge

The water is treated with a harmless dye to ensure a pristine swim environment and is noted for its excellent quality. In Summer we offer 250m, 500m & 750m swim courses which feature the iconic Lowry Theatre as a backdrop. Perfect for sighting! 

Our picturesque Cheshire venue is one of the loveliest places to swim in the Northwest. It's well suited to novice swimmers and families who welcome its warmth, shallow depth and chilled, rural atmosphere. Thousands of swim folk have been welcomed into the open water here since the late 1990's and it continues to grow from strength to strength.

During the Summer we open on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings offering 200m, 450m & 800m swim courses. Something for everybody.
