To get swimmers in great shape we organise 'Masterclasses', 1-2-1's and coached training swims - indoor and outdoor - to develop the skills and fitness to swim efficiently. Swimming is technical and inefficient technique will limit us. Our ASA Qualified Swim Coaches equip swimmers with the tools to be the very best they can be and, ultimately, become UNLIMITED!

*You are welcome to attend a single session and do not need to attend all four but will benefit if you do. We cover different topics each session such as technique, sighting, groupwork skills etc Your choice.


Join our Masterclasses and train in the World Class Dock 9 under the guidance of experienced and qualified swim coaches.  The Masterclasses - small groups - are designed to 'push your boundaries' and will be challenging, informative and fun! Improvements in fitness and technique guaranteed!


*Sessions suitable for all swimmer level (except novices). You will receive personal stroke analysis, guidance on what you need to focus on for and several sample sessions to use to assist with the improvements.

Dave Quartermain


As Founder of Uswim Dave has a passion for open water swimming that has taken him to places such as the US and South Africa (to swim around Manhattan Island, first Brit winner) and also attempt the English Channel. As one of the UK's top open water swimmers in the late '90's he set up Uswim to provide safely supervised open water swims in the Northwest (UK). Since then Uswim has welcomed over 100,000 people - and counting - into the open water. 

Learning to swim in the canal outside his home in Marple seems a lifetime ago!
