Dave Quartermain
As Founder of Uswim in the late '90's Dave has a passion for open water swimming that has taken him to places such as South Africa, New York (Manhattan, first Brit winner) and also attempt the English Channel. As one of the UK's top open water swimmers in the late '90's he set up Uswim to provide swimmers with supervised, high quality venues and events in the Northwest (UK). Since then Uswim has welcomed over 250,000 people - and counting - into the open water.
Learning to swim as a toddler in the canal outside his home in Marple seems a lifetime ago!
