BRIEFINGS

Tow-floats compulsory: For 25km, 15km & 10km swimmers
Swim Starts / Finishes: You will be required to start in the water and, at the end of your swim, exit the water via the ramp passing over the timing mat to record your time.
25, 15, 10km swimmers will be required to exit the water and pass over the timing mat after each 5km to record 5km split times.
Swim Courses
will be 25 x 1km anticlockwise laps (25km), 15 laps for the 15km,
10 for the 10km, 5 for the 5km and 1 x 1km lap plus 500m lap for the 1.5km. Simples.
Feeding (25/15/10km swimmers)
This will be set up on land. It is your responsibility to provide your own food. Usually people 'feed' after each 5km so you can pass the timing point at the same time. Swimmers can, however, get out anytime they want as long as they don't pass over the timing mat.
